WiscNet member organization may purchase SSL certificates from WiscNet and protect web application including websites, VPNs, and Skyward web server.

WiscNet has partnered with DigiCert (formerly GeoTrust by Symantec) to provide affordable digital certificates. SSL certificates are used to authenticate the identify of a service and encrypt information sent to the servers using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology. In other words, digital certificates help make our websites more secure.
