WiscNet member organization may purchase DigiCerts SSL certificates from WiscNet and protect sensitive web application logins and data, including Skyward web server.
WiscNet's partnered with Symantec to provide affordable digital certificates. CERTS are used to authenticate the identify of a website and encrypt information sent to web servers using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology. In other words, digital certificates help make our member's websites more secure.
On October 2017, Symantec was purchased by another security company called DigiCert. This will has increased options for our members.
