Artificial intelligence (AI) generates the content. While efforts are made to ensure accuracy and reliability, AI-generated content may contain errors or reflect limitations in the underlying data. Users should verify critical information independently and use discretion when relying on AI-generated outputs.

Current Rough Edges (Burnt Ends?)

  • Development and testing have been strictly in OpenAI/ChatGPT. With regard to service reliability, some days are better than others.
  • These custom GPTs are "shared" as "public" if you have the link.
  • You probably need to be logged into a ChatGPT account.
  • ChatGPT likes to jump in and offer to output in various file formats (pdf, docx, etc.). My testing Results seem to be mixed.
  • If you come across a list of meats, e.g., Bacon ipsum dolor amet fatback pig porchetta, flank drumstick ribeye capicola shank ball tip short ribs sirloin ham pork chop, that's simply a placeholder test.

WiscNet Cybersecurity Incident Simulator - Version 1.3 - 2025-03-25

Simulate a cybersecurity incident response from the perspective of a cybersecurity incident response team for a WiscNet member organization.

Explanation

This simulator lets WiscNet members take on any role in any type of WiscNet member organization. Want to see what cybersecurity communications look like in a K12 school district? Experience the issues technical college leadership may face in a cybersecurity incident. After a few questions, you become part of the cybersecurity incident response team are are given a randomized cybersecurity scenario. From there, it can be anything from a text-based "choose your own adventure" to something you intentionally throw curveballs at. As the adventure plays out, the artificial intelligence will mix in a few gameplay elements in order to spice things up.

Intent

Allow WiscNet members to simulate cybersecurity incident response in a single-player environment.

WiscNet Cybersecurity Incident Response Team Creator - Version 1.0 - 2025-03-26

Answer a few questions and begin drafting a cybersecurity incident response team within our WiscNet member organizations.

Explanation

Choose the route of a fictitious organization (and change things later), using this to get a quick start on drafting and forming your organization. This GPT will help establish (and suggest) roles and contact information for key players in any cybersecurity response effort. Once your team is assembled, the AI will suggest some draft "project-planning" tasks such as email invitations, follow-up emails, and introductory meeting agendas.

Intent

Simply get the ball rolling. This GPT is not a shortcut, nor is it a comprehensive dive into the important step of forming a team. It does something AI does best by automating a few of the basics and starting to get your blood flowing.
